Dr Syed Asaduddin Ahmed is a world-renowned Unani Doctor. He has completed his graduation in 1997 from Govt. Nizamia Unani Medical College, one of the renowned institutions in Hyderabad, India. He is the first Unani Doctor to receive an official license from the Ministry of Health (M.O.H) to practice in United Arab Emirates since 2002. He has established Unani Medical Departments in Al Amin Medical Center, Sharjah, Dermah International Medical Center, Dubai, and Hind Medical Centre Sharjah. Al Hijama Alternative Medical Center is the first and exclusive Unani Medical Centre started in 2010 in a prime location in the heart of Sharjah.
Dr Syed Asaduddin Ahmed has presented papers in many continuing medical education programs on topics like Vitiligo, Asthma, G.I. disturbance, Hijama (cupping), etc. He has received the Best Unani Physician Award in Burj Al Arab, Dubai for the year 2012.
He has been awarded an appreciation award by the Dubai Health Authority in 2008. He is the recipient of the All India Hakim Ajmal Award 2005 by Unani Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Ambumani Ramdass in New Delhi. He always encouraged Unani professionals to establish themselves in different countries. Now Unani is being officially practiced in different countries like South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Kenya, Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Germany, etc.
